About the role

Are you intrinsically curious about the ins and outs of global custom manufacturing for packaging? As a pricing and procurement intern at Lumi, you’ll be exposed to the key day-to-day function of sending and collecting quotes from our manufacturing partners. You’ll work interdepartmentally, collecting quote requests from our sales team, managing vendor relations with our supply chain team, discussing product details with our builds team and strategy with our sourcing team.

You should be intrinsically curious and excited to learn the ins and outs of manufacturing across the full gamut of custom packaging.


  • Maintain organization and data cleanliness throughout the quote request workflow
  • Assist the vendor relations manager with all quoting tasks
  • Develop a deep knowledge of our vendor network capabilities and personnel to advise on strategy
  • Optimize procedures related to pricing and procurement


  • Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing)
  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly meticulous organizational and work habits
  • Exposure to packaging, printing, or manufacturing is favored
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply complex information
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
  • Able to commit at least 40 hours per week
