About the role

As a Sales Project Manager you’ll play a vital role in winning new business. You’ll be on the front lines with our account executives, collecting requirements, facilitating effective communication both internally and externally, preparing presentations, and developing sales collateral and managing timelines. Your primary goal will be to support account executives with active project management, mainly targeting high-value clients, ensuring promises are kept during the sales process, from first contact to first order.

You will be the internal liaison for account executives, ensuring that: all essential data and sales assets are requested, collected, input, and organized effectively; all customer promises are delivered upon; and communication between our design, prototyping, pricing and sales teams is always in sync. Success in this role requires organization, attention to detail, collaboration across all of Lumi’s teams, persistence, creativity, and daily problem solving.


  • Drive planning efforts for customer visits, sales meetings, and sales events
  • Coordinate interdepartmental efforts to guarantee a smooth sales experience for customers
  • Work with our prototyping lab engineers to effectively manage deadlines and priorities
  • Support account executives with sales activities (presenting, reporting, scheduling, etc)
  • Ensure that all data is input into our sales tools in a timely manner
  • Build relationships with customers and our sales team to understand and serve their needs
  • Track progress on each sales effort and advise solutions for issue resolutions


  • Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred
  • 3-4+ years of experience in sales & project management
  • Experience in packaging, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain industry is a huge plus
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); experience in presentation development tools
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once and execute flawlessly
  • Salesforce.com experience is a must
