About the role

We’re seeking a stellar Senior Accounting Manager to join our team during a period of rapid growth and product development. With the recent launch of Lumi’s transactional marketplace we’ve introduced a lot of complexity to our financial operations and we’re excited to add a Senior Accounting Manager to work alongside our VP Finance and Staff Accountant. Ideally you have a tenure at another high growth technology company and more specifically experience (or a fascination!) with marketplace businesses. Experience with physical products, ecommerce, manufacturing and supply chain are all a plus. 

What you'll do

• Oversee Lumi’s accounting procedures in accordance with US GAAP
• Prepare internal financial statements and manage the monthly and quarterly close processes, including reconciliations and budget reviews with executive team
• Administer our ERP Netsuite and help to drive increased automation and integration efforts with the Lumi platform
• Continuously streamline accounting and financial reporting processes, working with VP Finance to establish financial controls
• Own AR/AP, payroll and tax compliance in line with state requirements
• Administer our payroll and benefits platform Namely, manage employee benefits enrollment and IRA enrollment contributions
• Manage Staff Accountant and contribute to their career development

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant discipline, CPA a plus
• 5+ years professional experience in accounting roles, strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting
• Advanced Excel skills, experience using Google applications
• Experience using Netsuite or relevant ERP and BI tools like Looker
• Extremely hands-on and comfortable working in the fast paced environment of a startup, ability to collaborate with other executives directly to build systems and problem solve
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills; high level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
