Full Overlap (FOL)

A longitudinal seam box with overlapping flaps on the top and bottom.
Overlapping flaps

The top and bottom of the box have at least two layers of material for added padding. In this example, the inner flaps partially overlap, providing a third layer of material.

Requires tape

Since the base of this box doesn't tuck or lock into place, tape is required to close.

Regular glue seam

Extend the glue seam for added strength.

Why choose it

The same general style as the Regular Slotted Container (RSC), but with front and back flaps that fully overlap over one another, rather than meeting in the middle. This adds extra cushioning to the top and bottom of the box, so it's good for products that require additional support or padding.

Design details

Top

Full overlap top

Four flaps of the same length, with the front and back flaps overlapping across the entire width of the box.
Bottom

Full overlap bottom

Four flaps of the same length, with the front and back flaps overlapping across the entire width of the box.
Extras

Extended glue tab

A longer glue tab for added strength, especially for more shallow boxes.
